Velocity Composites plc, has issued a special Thanksgiving message recognising the company’s growing U.S. presence and the contribution of its customers and employees at its Tallassee, Alabama facility.
Jon Bridges, CEO at Velocity Composites, extended his thanks to the company’s expanding U.S. customer base and praised the continued dedication of the Tallassee team, which has played a central role in the successful deployment of Velocity’s advanced kitting technology across major aerospace and defence programmes in the U.S
“As we celebrate Thanksgiving, I want to extend our warmest wishes to our customers, partners, and especially our outstanding team in Tallassee,” said Bridges. “Their hard work, professionalism, and commitment to excellence have been instrumental in strengthening our U.S. footprint. The progress we’ve made in Alabama—achieving Nadcap accreditation, onboarding major programmes, and building trusted long-term partnerships—has been exceptional. We’re incredibly proud of what the team has achieved.”
Velocity’s Tallassee site has become a strategic hub for serving U.S. aerospace and defence customers, offering digitally enabled material-kitting services that provide efficiency gains, traceability, and supply-chain resilience. The site’s rapid growth, backed by the company’s proprietary VRP technology platform, reflects the rising demand for high-integrity composite supply-chain solutions across North America.
“Thanksgiving is an important moment to reflect on the relationships that sustain our business,” James Eastbury, Chief Customer Officer added. “We are thankful to our customers for the trust they continue to place in us, and to our U.S. colleagues who embody the values of innovation, reliability, and partnership every day. Together, we’re building something very special.”
Velocity Composites continues to expand its operations in the United States as part of its long-term strategy to support customers more closely at production scale. With increasing adoption of its kitting model across civil and defence programmes, the company anticipates further growth and deeper integration into U.S. aerospace supply chains.
“From everyone at Velocity Composites, we wish our Tallassee team, their families, and all our U.S. customers a very happy Thanksgiving,” Eastbury concluded. “We look forward to achieving even more together in the year ahead.”
